Back, Core Races Completed

So life got in the way for a few weeks and I haven't really gotten anywhere. I've now finished up the last two Core Races and will be moving on to Core Classes.

Hopefully updates will be a little more constant from now on.

The Plan

So the site is coming along slowly. More features and pages will be showing up as quickly as I can get them up, hopefully no later than once a week. The OGL documentation will be showing up soon as I'm sure something I mention will require it or I'll post something that requires it.

Anyway, the plan is to work through the core races and the core/base classes (the base classes are cool enough to write about) after than I expect to be getting into debating feat schemes or the popularity of certain spells.

I really hope to get across some things like: Power Gaming isn't the answer. All these games are about telling a story and as much fun it is to make the amazing character who can kill anything, you're better off making the one who sounds interesting and is fun to play (and for the rest of the party to play with).

Welcome

So I had the thought awhile back to make a site dedicated to helping new roleplayers get into gaming.

There are sites that can tell you the rules, for example, d20pfsrd.com which I will tell you right now is the one stop shopping for everything you need to know about Pathfinder RPG. Sometimes though, you need more than just the rules, particularly when playing a RPG. While Pathfinder is a bit heavy on the mechanics side (there is a rule for just about everything) what really makes it fun is the roleplaying (those things there are no rules for). My hope is to encourage you all to make better, more interesting characters. To get out of your ruts and make a character like you've never played before and we haven't seen before. I'll give you advice on your fluff they skip in the rule books because that's not their part of the game. The roleplaying is up to you, they just want to steer you in the right direction.
I'm going to try to help.-Xander
